Safety Tips

  • Be aware of pickpockets on public transport to the event as well as at the venues. We recommend if you bring as few valuables as possible!
  • Travelling in groups is always the safest way to maneuver through music festivals so make sure you always have a buddy!
  • Bring a photo copy of your ID (and store it somewhere safe) in case you need it.

Great news: Sónar is going green!

This year Sónar will be greener than ever by introducing reusable and returnable 50cl cups for all drinks at Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night.

The cups can be obtained at all bars at the festival and require a deposit of 2€ paid with the first drink order. Dirty cups will be replaced at any time with the purchase of a new drink.  Also, water will be served in these cups from glass bottles – so make sure you don’t lose your cup!
